The challenge

The company required a CRM system to help their UK dealers centralise their customer information, manage and, most importantly, increase their business-to-business sales.

Project requirements

The company needed a system that would allow dealerships to report back to head office on their business to business sales activities. Key reporting criteria had to be met and the solution needed to be cost effective, easy to use and maintain.

 

The customer was looking for an experienced, responsive and flexible business partner to assist them throughout the selection, design and rollout phases of the project.

Solution

Phase one included a detailed business and process analysis. A prototype solution was then built, and once accepted, it was installed at the UK head office.

 

Phase two included the project planning of the entire CRM solution, including installation, training and support to the entire dealership network.

 

Phase three took place over 12 months and involved the rollout of the solution to all dealerships across the UK.

Tadpole's role

Tadpole was responsible for the entire project from initial system development through to project management of local installations and training over a 12 month period. Our aim at all times was to deliver the central solution and introduce the related processes that would result in accurate head office reporting, whilst giving the dealerships a useful local marketing and sales tool.

Key achievements

The project's aim was two-fold: to deliver a solution, which would result in centralised standard management reporting from across the UK for the head office. In addition, the new CRM system supports and empowers the local business teams.
